1. Data we process

  • Account profile data such as email, name, and timezone
  • Check-in settings and notification preferences
  • Check-in timestamps and streak-related metadata
  • Emergency contact details you provide
  • Operational logs needed for reliability and abuse prevention

2. How data is used

  • Deliver reminders and escalation messages
  • Operate check-in history, streaks, and account settings
  • Improve reliability and troubleshoot failures

3. Legal bases

Where applicable, processing is based on contract performance, legitimate interests such as security and reliability, and consent when required by law.

4. Sharing

We share data only with providers needed to run the platform, such as authentication, database, hosting, and email delivery providers.

5. Retention

Data is retained while the account is active and as needed for legitimate operational, legal, or security obligations.

6. User controls

Users can update account data, settings, and emergency contacts inside the app. Emergency contact recipients can also remove themselves from future alert emails through the link included in those emails.

7. Account deletion

Users can permanently delete their account inside app settings. If app access is unavailable, the public request page is available at pulsechecksafe.com/delete-account.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
